Cyan Jenkins grew up in Parsippany, N.J. and began drawing comics before she learned to spell. Throughout her education she has illustrated for various types of books and took commissions for portrait work. Her first published childrens book was Bunkie the Turtle which can be found at lulu.com. She received her Bachelors degree in Fine Art from Ringling College of Art and Design, majoring in Illustration with a minor in Visual Development. After graduating, she married her boyfriend of 2 years, Chad (also an artist). She moved to Georgia where she continues to freelance and act as the Art Editor of Target Audience Magazine. Her freelance work includes comics, childrens books, animated storyboards (animatics), layout design, and just about anything you want to “throw her way.” You can find her work at
