My name is Greg Thomas and im 20 years old. Im currently studying Illustration at Swansea Metropolitan University. This is my first year and so far it's been fun. I love comics, dark fantasy, gothic, world of warcraft and bright manga or pop art. Up until a few weeks ago i had never used photoshop or any other digital ways of creating art but seeing as the majority of work my favorite illustrators create is digital i decided it was about time i learnt how to do it! I usually use traditional methods such as pen&ink, watercolor, colored pencil and b&w pencil but really think that digital illustration is becoming a massive part of the industry. I started off my digital journey by finally using my photoshop CS3 application and buying imagine FX and so far I have learnt a lot from just 3 issues. I have now decided to join the forums in the search of like minded people that dont mind giving me good advice and helping me progress.
