I agree, the knight does need to be bigger or some how you need to reduce the gap between the two, perhaps have the dragon breath some fire.

I think there might be a few too many characteristics, I'd cut the number of features down a bit.

The left shoulder doesn't seem connected to the charcter's body quite right so the arm looks a bit detached. Nice ground lighting effects though.
