    Do you know the difference between matte and glossy? Let&#39;s say a tennis ball is matte and use a polished chrome sphere as our example of glossy. Each object reflects light cast upon it, the tennis ball is an uneven textured surface and as such the light is scattered in many more directions and can not produce a clear reflection.     Some real nice stuff Glen. You might consider elongating your basic figures just to experiment, it can change quite a lot. Some of your figures seem to need longer legs in general perhaps as well?&nbsp;

    Looks great. Something to consider is your exterior edges. If you softened the rounded shapes a bit ( don&#39;t use the blur tool please :) ) it would further the illusion and help your form.

    Looking good! Something you might consider is some value staging, it might be nice to contrast your figure with a lighter background and/or darkening your figure and foreground. Cheers!&nbsp;
