You might consider elongating your basic figures just to experiment, it can change quite a lot. Some of your figures seem to need longer legs in general perhaps as well?

Looks great.
Something to consider is your exterior edges. If you softened the rounded shapes a bit ( don't use the blur tool please :) ) it would further the illusion and help your form.

Do yourself a favor and draw on drawing paper, you deserve it you know?

Looking good! Something you might consider is some value staging, it might be nice to contrast your figure with a lighter background and/or darkening your figure and foreground.

Just as a small note, I find it helpful to ground your characters - add a cast shadow and it will feel all the more real.
