Naturally, in working on something old, within the new, you loose teh spontanousity of the original piece. In this instance, I love the contrasted saturated green of the sky (top right) and the intensity of the fires burning through. Whilst providing a better atmospheric perspective in the newer piece, you have to sacrifice some element of ...

Mike> Hi buddy. The main thing about a character is Value and Design. If you can accurately paint what is there (what you see - ateliers/life drawing) and what your dont see (design.anatomy) then colour is quite relative (and a seperate but related issue) Right, today I decided to continue on a sketch produced over 1 year ago. Sometimes, when ...

Sometimes the tilt can exacerbate the angle jitter on 12WX. We have a 12 WX, 21UX and the I4 but dont notice too many issues with regards to jitter (so not very helpful for you) but have heard other users complain of it as such. If it is still fairly new, there is also the consideration of the Intuos 4 to consider.

HOW IT WORKS: The Cintiqs work as a electromagnetic resonnance arrays whereby the whole monitor is acts as a circuitboard. The circuit board has areas of higher strength - power nodes where the fluxes cross - thus areas in the middle will have crossover of fluxes and be stronger. Areas on the periphery have only the singualr nodes but less ...

!2WX - can you screen cap the jitter/describe it please? With regards to monitors - yes. If you can master value (greyscale), then with colour, your tones will always be relative, and it doesnt matter (too much) any monitor you use. But a good monitor helps!!Tablet PCs - I have only tried out the windows tablet PCs + motion slate. I cannot comment ...

Hi Li, Thanks for stopping by. The 12WX can be very useful for various occasions and if set up right, can serve you well. However, colour reproduction is perhaps not as good as a monitor, but relatively close. All laptops do not reproduce colour accurately except Macs (qualitative analysis) and may require some calibration. Anecdotally, folks ...
