    Lately i&#39;ve been doing alot of sketching, and nothing beats a pencil and paper for that, itt&#39;s just too spontaneous. Plus i take my sketchbook with me everywhere. &nbsp; But if i start a piece that i know is going to be painted, or a finished/polished illustration i do the whole thing digitally usually. Im almost as accurate with my wacom ...

    Fantastci master study, especially the face... I really should start doing some myself ;S I would maybe recommend using larger brushes for the suggested parts like the colar on the right where its fades of is a bit fugly.&nbsp; &nbsp;

    Yer these are really great pieces, cool squaresoft-esque feminine guys. Some really nice rendering (graphite?). I would maybe try and put some darkerdefined cast shadows in places though just to bring a little focus to them.

    to draw a straight line use the paintbrush.&nbsp;paint your starting dot, hold shift down, and the click where you want the line to finish Erm, there is a light renderer in photoshop, but for digital arts sake dont use it. Your 2d image doesnt have all the 3d information for the program to automatically light it. You simply haveto imagine and ...

    Nice to see someone new aroun the sketchbook forum. Some great ideas here. As for ways of improving them, the details on your pictures get me lost in the image, i would concentrate more on shapes sillouhettes and form for longer before moving onto detailing. Do you draw the image one part at a time?( hard to explain) or do you draw the whole ...

    Wow these are really great. I like the last one best because of the colours!. I like the gieger esque stuff on the first one, but the colours are a little unsaturated for my taste
