Was wondering if you tried to use dodge and burn to shade? Or maybe a soft airbrush? I'd try to use a harder brush and color pick the very edge to pick up a mid color and then slowly build up shadows and light. Bobby Chiu is way high on my list mostly because he is into helping out new artist so much. I watch his live chiu cast when ever possible and have learned tons from watching his work being created live. Also I didn't know how old Frank Frazetta was...his art just looks so now and current wow! I so love this guy and totaly agree with him ...

rcallicotte: 187 / 187 I had a problem in Painter where I could not color or blend over certain areas.  It was like a blank space was there and it would color in some places but not all.  Anyone here seen this and, if so, what is that?
