Dude, if I can't even align something that is supposed to be parallel, I might as well be retarded. This is just the last straw of a billion of other things. I will be a tool if I continue to delude myself that I will make it when clearly I won't. So yeah, this is it. I have nothing more to say.

I looked at it for a few minutes and made some slight adjustment, but the overall result doesn't seem that different. I guess you just can't polish a turd. So, I am calling a quit. I guess I really over-estimated myself when I said I wanted to do a graphic novel. Sorry.

rorke:This may sound silly but... are they spouse to have lazy eyes? (it could just be the style that's why I ask.) If not, the pupils are way off. Sorta gives them that slight one lazy eye look. Try nudging one of the pupils slightly to make them both looking in the same direction. I like the warm colors your using.

I wouldn't rely entirely on painting your colors on one layer with certain blending mode. The best thing to do is apply colors individually and use different modes and opacity as you see fit, and merge down as you go so there aren't that many layers.

Well, I do notice an issue. the position of the legs in your sketch is actually quite different from the reference, and in your sketch the pose seems rather impossible, mainly because both feet seems to be too close to each other; in the reference photo they are much further apart. Also, the knees are further apart vertically in the reference, ...

Hello! Well about the first painting, the fleshy part where the hooks meet don't look like they are reacting to the pulling, mainly because it looks too rigid and straight. The distortion around the insertion of the hooks should be very dramatic, because the skin tissue is very thin and soft.
