Personally, I'd suggest Feng's backgrounds DVD - while it's primarily architectural backgrounds, it was definitely my favorite of the Gnomons I've seen. I wasn't as impressed with Dusso's, but he does do more landscapes than Feng, so he might be appropriate to what you're looking for subject-matter-wise.
