Silas is a good(ish) demon who is best friends with Azriel, the Angel of Death. They're the best of mates, although Azriel tends to always be getting Silas out of trouble more often than not!

This is the reason I haven't uploaded anything for a few days...mainly because it has taken me that long to finish this piece. The colouring took forever- so many details! But then I guess I only have myself to blame there!

Anyway, this is Vaugn. As for his story, he's the result of an evil witch's curse, forcing him to be a kinda bat-like human for every day of the month, unless it's a full moon. Kinda reverse were-bat thing going on there :D Anyway, he's a nice guy and seeks revenge on the witch who changed him, hoping one day to be returned back to normal. Personally I think he's cuter this way :D I'd certainly hug him. I'll draw him as a human soon too, just so you can compare!

Okies, well now I can get back to my comics! LOL! And all the other pieces of artwork I have to finish!

I enjoy it all really!

Because not all werewolves are snarling hideous monsters! Well, mine aren't anyway. I drew this after doing a bit of work on my second book in the Darkley series, where one of my characters (I won't say which in case you're enjoying reading book 1- I don't want to spoil the surprise) is having a bad evening.

Basically he goes and chains himself up and gets a strop on, thinking he's going to go around killing people, when really all he needs is a big hug...yeah...ok...I know I'm not conventional, but who cares.

BIG werewolf huggles all round, I say :D
Anyway, just enjoy the pic, it's taken me a while to do, mainly coz of the colouring and the lighting- oh and being ill :S

Take care all, and remember- werewolves are for life, not just for full moons :D Hug them regularly :D YAY!

A Thief and a Vampire

This picture is of Vincent Hax (left) thief, informant and one of the group in my comic WAVAM, who has decided to do something about the evil and depraved rule of the vampires in Mortenza. He's a bit of a loner- but not by choice. He fears those who seek him may harm anyone close to him, so stays well out of most relationships and the suchlike. A total gentleman, he could charm the skin off a banana, and has a great deal of sarcastic wit, which allows him to talk his way out of most situations.

The guy next to him is Asckwith, a vampire who is fed up of the opressive regime of his own kind and has joined forces with the humans and a few other renegade vampires to help stop the war. He's kind and helpful, and knows Hax from the days when their fathers were friends. Extremely loyal, Asckwith will protect those he cares about fiercely, but finds it hard to keep up the pretence of 'evil vampire', as he works for Lord Adrin, who expects it of his kind to be as nasty as possible!
Asckwith also has the ability to stay out in sunlight longer than most other vamps and can therefore have secret meetings with Hax, with no fear of being overheard- or burning up into a little pile of vampire ash

So there we have it.

It's always important to de-fluff your werewolf regularly. It keeps them happy and contented. Scratching them behind the ears is always nice too, and in the absence of chocolate digestives, big friendly hugs make an excellent alternative.

Note: Keeping a spare set of clothes for them is always handy- and avoid embarrasing moments by not falling asleep on one on nights of a full moon- even if they are soft and cuddly...and don't howl too loudly.

I was reading over a scene in my second book and I knew I just had to draw a picture of it, as it's one of the VERY rare times Darren actually shows Celeste any affection, although I believe his comment is "I'm not sure how to do this without paws..." - Coz as a human, Mr Rivers isn't the most huggable of people...

Still, we love him
Well, I do...
Which is bad seeing as I created him.
*keeps repeating 'Darren does not really exist'...and errr...does Celeste REALLY look like me? Nahhh...not at all...no way...*

They are supposed to be brother and sister, and he's all protective. I call them neuma's- as in a race of furry critters I created and keep drawing and changing, and am not quite sure what to use them in lol!

Okay, yeah, there's not really much of an explanation about this picture, it's just one of those things that comes out the end of your pencil.

I guess she was supposed to be the big furry demon's dinner, but he had other ideas...she's supposed to just be waking up, and yes...he does have four tails...as I said...I just drew and this came out.

It's taken an age to colour.
Anyway, umm...hope you like it.

Before Things Got Complicated

There was a time before The Amulet of Vichalace when Celeste Reignsway was just an ordinary schoolgirl, doted on by her beloved father...before the days of vampires, werewolves, spirits of 17th Century assassins, enchanted amulets and the terrors that haunt the night...

I wanted to draw a picture which had Celeste looking happy and sweet in it, with all the things that were to come, sort of hovering in the background behind her. There is still that creepy feel surrounding Celeste though, with all the black shadows, seeing as since the day she was adpoted by Laughlan her life was never going to be one of a normal child. Still, her father protects her along with all the other seemingly creepy characters lurking around.

She might be oblivious to the darkness surrounding her, but it is certainly well aware of her.

If anyone remembers the old EarthBound (my angel/demon comic), then they will recall that I had a certain angel called Lamael as a character. I just happened to be listening to 'It's a Sin' by The Petshop Boys (don't hate me) when I started sketching and this came out.

Lamael is a Power, a fighting angel, and is brother to Camael, one of The Seven and also leader of all the Powers. The two could not be more different. Camael is kind, brave, honourable and heavenly, whereas Lamael is sharp, trendy and has dubious morals. He's not a 'bad guy' though, he just has a rather too high opinion of himself- and you won't see him with his harp at choir practice.

Still, he is rather yummy...which is entirely the point. This guy doesn't think he's it, he IS it. And he will be returning to EarthBound sometime in the future. Until then, enjoy him here!
