The Four Seasons - Spring

Spring, synonym of Rebirth, is coming. The land gets warmer and the grass is swelling. Flowers open out, all the trees are in bloom. Land needs not much time to be luxuriant, it shines with a beauty that only summer will tarnish.

The Four Seasons - Summer

Summer is a warm season, when life is everywhere splendid and bright, with the hot weather, and Summer is often synonym with harvest or vacation. But I decided not to do the harvest, just a wheat field and no shadow from the tree of right to protect the light skin of the woman (though I think she's not kinda real), a hard suffocating weather. But she's there around the wheat field with around her those red poppies who grow in cereal fields in summer, and the lark, synonym of summer in france, is flying to another place while two swans and a heron are in peace behind her on the lake, and it doesn't seem they see her.

The Four Seasons - Autumn

Autumn is my prefered seasons : so many warm and beautiful colors from dark red to gold in the trees ! It means also the slow death of the nature. This elegant lonely woman knows it, that's why she's sad by looking the leaves falling from trees. But she doesn't doubt that one day they'll rebirth.

Canadian autumn inspired me to do this pic.

The Four Seasons - Winter

Winter is one of my prefered seasons : everything is grey and blue, cold, dead by snow, and you feel your fingers & feet freezed ! But it seems this woman in her bare dress doesn't even feel the cold, she's lost in her thoughts in a forest covered by snow and as she doesn't move the snow slowly piles up on herself. Winter is just present for few months, but it's like if it's an eternity.
