Stolen

The story behind this piece is kind of strange, it’s about a really weird dream I had recently. The dream was that the heart of a boy was stolen by a witch, and it had to be returned to him. I can't for the life of me remember his name, but I was suddenly terrified beyond belief when I heard it. It's really all in pieces but I remember seeing the boy, and he was beautiful, almost angelic, with the saddest downhearted and absent look on his face, but a second later his expression changed just the slightest and he looked perfectly alert and completely mad, and I understood why I feared him. After his heart was stolen, he turned into a monster.

I can't really explain anything else about the boy, I think he is fairly young... 16 maybe? He looked that way. I know he looks girly, but I saw him as very beautiful before he turned mad. I gave him a locket in the shape of a heart, because even though I can't remember, I think part of him was still searching for his.

The Little Mermaid was rereleased recently, I picked it up right away, Disney animations have always been such a huge inspiration to me, I feel nervous doing fanart though because it's impossible to compare to the amazing artists who created these characters~
This was originally just a sketch, but my friend insisted that I finish it XD
So this is dedicated to her, and to my boyfriend because he puts up with my scary addiction to cartoons, and he got me the little mermaid soundtrack *happytear*
For reference, I looked at my own arm and hand, that's about it. and the cover of the little mermaid DVD to make sure she looks right.<small> details </small>

This was a commission of a Mr.Josh Bacon's RP character, Nanami. She's a warrior lady type character and I really fell in love with her~ She wanders a lot and travels so her wardrobe has mixed style influences. He described Nanami as young, with fierce pride, but a quiet demeanor. (there was a much larger description given to me, but i thought that part stood out the best!) details

I wonder what she’s listening to? This started as just a practice thing, exercise in anatomy (referenced myself), and I haven't touched painter in a while so I wanted to play around with it too. Anyways, I couldn't really leave it alone and kept touching it up, I don't want to take it any further though, I like the brushstrokes and I don't really want to smooth them out.. I'm happy with her legs... not so much her face though. oh well! details

Blood Splatter

My character Kiju, this started as a class doodle that I brought home and finished. The blood splaters in the BG were textures I found online, though the blood on her skin was painted. Kiju has tattoos/markings all over her body but I left most of them out.. becauuse.. ooff.. lazyness. and I want to redesign them. Also her eyes are pure black, a change from her original design but I like it, it makes her look creepy, shes not supposed to look too cute. Details
