the halloween 2006 special pic for my webcomic - finished just a couple of days ago. i feel quite satisfied with how this came out - i like the colours and the sense of depth...altho i think that i'd like to refine my linework a bit, plus some of the cell-shaded areas could use a little more subtlety...

Chuck - Labyrinth Security

This is my 2006 IMAF submission, and my 1st ever proper character design! The brief was to create a mythological character in a modern, mundane setting.

I wanted to give the character as much depth as possible in the 1-page allowance, so I included several detail touches, like the calendar, mug and keyrings, and also several expressions down the right hand side.
