Bat Totem

The first of my two pieces for the Pathfinders totem card deck. (www.pathfindersdeck.com) It was a fun experiment on both texture and trying to get the light throught those wings.

Amusha

A fairly simple piece I created for other purposes but I feel it makes a nice stand-alone image as well.

It's a kind of small, nocturnal, Shi'Imoran dragon. Males have bioluminescent 'flags' for attracting mates. Though sometimes it attracts the curiousity of other creatures.

Music (MTPCT)

Done for CD folio where participating artists got to choose pretty much any song by any artist. I was going to choose a more obscure band with hugely meaningful lyrics. Then, while listening to some mp3's on random 'Music' by Madonna came on. It just struck me as a song entirely suiting to the folio. Well, what the hey, I love to dance and can't seem to function without the presence of music, so I felt I could identify with the song.

Thusly, this lovely fellow was born. Music is universal so his MP3 is a special one. ;)

May not be very mobile but that doesn't keep him from enjoying what the world of music has to offer.

Piece for last Halloween. I never get to have candycorn any more. I just haven't found it in the UK. So my character Nikoli gets to eat giant-sized ones on my behalf.

He is accompanied by a little bat sneaking some candy and two jack-o-lantern fellas. The big pumpkin sure seems a lil grumpy!

Sha' Kumni

I wanted to try my hand at something a little more like cell-style shading. I'm a big fan of trying to experiment with new techniques.

So I used my guardian-god of the Shi'Imoran moons, Lunara & Lathuin. His realms are of night and darkness, he is watcher and collector of evils and is the force of death. He and his minions collect souls and guide them into the afterlife.

Just youre regular bright and cheery sort of guy ;)

Bus Stop Poser

A commission in which the buyer felt inspired by the recent Narnia movie and asked me to create a modern day satyr. Of course, being an lover of faun and satyr I jumped at the idea.

The concept behind it?
On his travels, a first-time tourist to the Scottish Highlands is totally taken aback by the curious and confident satyr. Waiting on their bus to Inverness, the tourist asks if he can have a photo. Being fairly proud and confident of his looks the satyr is more than happy to oblige.
