Brin&amp;#39;s books), made in Painter and Photoshop .&lt;br /&gt;Here&amp;#39;s the story:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Fatamorgana&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After a long time the answer to &amp;#39;Is there other sentient life in the universe?&amp;#39; has come, and Earth doesn&amp;#39;t like the answer.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Zeron are here, they are high energy, featureless shape-shifters. More than that, much like lichen they are the fusion of two species, to produce a new Zeron an &amp;#39;energy seed&amp;#39; has to combine with another being, and humans have the highest compatibility.&lt;br /&gt;Are they &amp;#39;evil conquerors&amp;#39;? Would it be right to condemn them to extinction? Is there another solution?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;These human maquis aren&amp;#39;t concerned with&lt;br /&gt;philosophical dilemmas, they believe they are fighting for human survival. version of a Succubus, seen with her pet hell-hound.&lt;span class="Apple-converted-space"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Base in Painter, detailing in Photoshop.&lt;span class="Apple-converted-space"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Note: the out of focus background is fully intentional, as athmospheric perspective it may be a bit exaggerated, but I
