Point taken. *sigh* The neverending struggle which we refer to as life.
Nothing against your work here... but do you have your own site? To be honest, I admire your profile image and would like to see it in it's entirety.

Gorgeous.
I admire this work a lot, and it must have been emotionally mixed to paint. The strength it took to do comes across.

Beautiful work. I was so moved, even before reading your comments. I empathize with you. I too, am/was, a dancer. But due to a car accident, I am unable to continue with this particular passion. My heart goes out to you. And again, completely moving and beautiful. Thank you for sharing it with us.

She is so beautiful. The curve and the empty space...

A beautiful composition. The geometry in the wall edges and the skirting boards take the eye exactly where it needs to be. Simple, straightforward and full of visual tension. Just excellent.

Can you give us a link to the original photograph?

I saw the original photo long time ago in DeviantArt... it's exactly the same.

Yea, it looks like alot of his/her work is just photo-manipulation... Either changing colors, like in the dress image (along with drawing a bit of hair), or using the smudge tool on photos to create a painterly effect, without much in the actual way of painting. I'd like to see you make something without photo reference. If you're drawing over a photo, or using the color picker tool, there's very little in the way of making actual artistic choices.

Photo manipulation once again eventually you will learn life lessons as an artist you have potential an eye for blending elements and images, apply it to your own work remember digital art or digital photography you can even take the photos yourself then u may call it your own dont be scared to test your talent thats how you'll define yourself as an artist.

You've conveyed it beautifully. The grace in form against the starkness and confinement of the corner. great work
