Aiko as the featured model. Before I started, I was quite clear how I
wanted the outfit to be, but couldn't find one that matched my

to see if I could come up with my own superman. I took David 3 into
zBrush to sculpt the face, which was loosely modelled on Brandon Routh
and Chris Reeves. Painted the bodysuit in Photoshop. The basic shape of
the Superman emblem was masked out in Illustrator, then later modelled
in Hexagon 2.0, together with the belt. No, I'm not a modeller yet, but
it's a good start. I really wanted this portrait to be quite dark, with
hints of red and lots of vibrant electric blue. This was achieved in
Photoshop.
