Personal artwork.
No specific reference used, but a bunch of photos to have a good palette and for the leaves.

I made this artwork to challenge myself with unusual (for me of course [:D]) atmosphere and lights, a warm and autumnal palette. I used very few layers than usual, and I tried to keep everything as rough as possible, with more visible brush strokes.
I hope you like it! ^_^

This is my entry for Exotique 7, a special book that gathers the best digital character design. I was inspired by Aibhill, one of the most famous banshees of Celtic legends: she appeared in Brian Boru's dream before an important battle, while she was washing some bloody clothes until the clear water turned into red.
