I didn't paint over the photo reference. It was painted on a separate canvas.This was actually completed in May... it had a photo background originally but i got flamed by people on conceptart.org who kept on saying how much they hated the painting i spent days on. And they did so for no particular reason.

But seriously... this is just practice for me. It's not exactly meant to have any deep meaningful symbollism diffusing from it or something. I just wanted a warm yet dark painting of a femme fatal;)   X Quiem
