long time ago I post something

This is a portait of a good friend of mine.
I did this portait for the pixelbrush event "Faces of PB" at Pixelbrush

I paint the bulb because it's an icon from one of his fav bands "Queens of the Stone Age".

Happy Halloween!!! long time no see I know =(

This was also done for a Pixelbrush Challenge. It was a special for Halloween ("Cute things that bite").

well... first I had a brainstorm and sure, I was thinking about painting a cute bat or a cute black kitten etc. etc., but most of these ideas were already used and I wanted to paint something different... so... my boyfriend brought me on the right way and I decided to paint: KILLER-COOKIES!!! *hehe* ^_^

ok I know it's called "cute things that bite" and this is more "sweet things that bites", but it was fine to use "cute" this way. Because in German we only have one word for these two a little bit different meanings --> "süß" ;)

Beat 'em up Pixel ID

I created this for a just for fun contest on DA. You should painted yourself as a game character from the early old school beat 'em up games like street fighter etc. Wink

a pixel charakter (you can see on the left side) - created pixel by pixel - and above a little painted picture of it.

I had much fun doing this! ^_^ Oh.. and if you ask yourself, what's the meaning of "chokora~to"...
you only have to say it more the japanese way, than it's "chocolate"!!! ;P (that's my special attack, you now )

well the painting "come closer" (you can take a look at it here) was only a speedpaint. But I spend a little more time on it and changed some things.

Hope it looks a little bit better now. And I gave her a name btw

Alassea Elensar is Elvish and means "Miss of Pain". I'm sure you can figure out what she likes.

I want to practise my skills a little bit, so this is the result... a little speed paint - if you still can call it a speedpaint, because I think I even spend about 15 hours for this. XD

well... I quit counting the hours I was sitting on that. it was hard for me to do this because I proposed to myself a designated target and I wanted it to look like I imagined. I learned a lot during the painting process btw. ;)

took some reference pictures from me with my cell phone photocam for the pose, my hand and other refs were, what my mirror gave me ;)

done with a wacom graphire, most parts in painter, some parts in ps cs2.
