Thought I'd show my pencil work!
I wanted to go for something whacky and dynamic, but a bit of freaky and friendly. The freaky part is that creature's wide grin and lack of actual eyes. It also has 4 ears
The bird is an influence of Paradise birds.
I titled this "Similarity" because both creatures share a common obsession with pretty, shiny, objects. When I color this, it will make more sense.
Used Mechanical pencil on 8.5x11in paper. I really hate US scanners, I'd love to have one of those A4 scanners!
