Wetland Conservation Poster

This was a second year project where we were tasked with creating a poster that would make people more aware of the importance of wetlands. My concept behind this poster was to not only to concentrate on the environmental impact that wetlands have but also the cultural value it has for certain communities that are dependant of wetlands.

Adomant 3D Bust Final

Adomant is an original character, and was the inspiration behind this personal project that I started. I wanted to show what I’m capable off when it came to following through with a project through the various stages from concept, to illustration, modelling, sculpting and texturing and finally rendering out the final result, and showing all the progress I made to get there.

Our goal for this project was to create a character based on a mythical being, but placing it in a setting that was different of how it is usually depicted, but was still true to the myths and stories about the creature. This was my first project working with Copic Markers.

2009 SAPO Design stamp Competion

1st Place Winner. Stamps are available at Post Offices and are the first stamps to be printed with a 3D anaglyph effect in South Africa. The project brief was to depict 5 dinosaurs and their skeletons that was either found in Africa or discovered by an African palaeontologist. My concept was to create the dinosaurs and give them characteristics to current South African living animals

A personal Project: I’m enthusiastic about character and creature concept development and I feel that this is where my passions and strengths really thrive. This particular piece I created as an entry to a game creature competition. And it was created through the means of 3D modelling as well as digital painting.
