Wow. Just curious, is any of this done with the new beta version you said you were testing or is it all SBP2?

Ssssshhhhhhhhh!! Perhaps . . . . . My lips are sealed. I'd make the most of that if I were you. Actually. Everything I've done could be done in SKB2, using the same techniques I've used here. I just thought of importing some textures to use on low opacity layers, and working into them. Fills in a lot of dead space with some interest.

Aha, you're secret is safe with me... and anyone else that reads this. You can believe me when I tell you I will say no more until the next time I speak.

I've always known you as a man of your and other people's words Marcus. It's a rare quality.

Delicious work, as always, Nick. Particularly like the depth and sculpting at the top left. Hmmm, perhaps I should take a look at this Sketchbook Pro stuff. Like you, I have so much stuff put aside because that nuisance 'income' gets in the way. Maybe I should save up for a TARDIS. Pete

That's great! took me a minute to figure out that the creatures on the rocks were rea, which makes it better. Where did you get the idea from?

I had ti do some work a few years back for the development of an animated version of this tale - http://www.pagebypagebooks.com/George_MacDonald/The_Princess_and_the_Goblin/ My work /style wasn't used, but the story is a great and imaginative tale and I'd love to illustrate it sometime. Have a read and you'll see where the ideas were coming from. Thanks for the kind word, by the way - Glad you like.

Seriously! I'm really not just sucking up here, but that was my favorite film when I was little. (I was devestated when it broke)

Excellent piece, would never have even tried something like this with sketchbook.

The whole concept is amazing - the way the 'weird' creatures frame the child - the sense of light /hope in the midst of gloom/doom....
