I am still working on this painting, I want to detail the building in the foreground more and check my light source, that is, bounced light, reflection light textured light ext.

This was painted in about 6 hours in painter and photoshop. I painted the devil because I just saw hellboy and I wanted to draw horns. I chose to do an interesting excersize while painting this and I do not recomend doing it as a professional practice, but I only saved one copy of the image and I saved it as a jpg. The reason for this is it made me more concience of decisions I was making while painting. I also tried to use only one layer. I do not recomend this as a professional practice, but as an excersize for personal work one can really learn to trust themselves. Late Nwagz

A Woman Scorned

I did this for the Gnomon Workshop Monthly competition. Sea Creatures was the title. I thought of a pirate who pretended to love a sea goddess in order to steal a chest of great value. He is not going to get far.

Barbed Flowers

This started off as a contest piece for a competition. I did not win the competition because it was for a movie poster. What they wanted was photo manipulation, not painting from scratch. However, while I was painting it for the competition I fell in love with the face. So, I worked on it for a long time, over a week. I imagined a beautiful woman committed some horrible act was condemned to a garden of Barbed Flowers. The rest of the story is up to the viewer. Late Nwagz
