I like the way the bugs legs are not symmetrical on each side of its body, however I would say that your placement of them does make it look like the insect is standing rather than flying, this may be intentional I just cant tell because of the background.

Also, how on earth did you do that fire? It looks truly incredible even on the enlarged image it looks magnificent.
