Sunshine and Flowers

This shows Ruriko (girl), Carlos (hedgehog) and Sakura (bunny) from my manga 'Harajuku Zoo'. Done using Photoshop CS and Painter IX. Carlos and Sakura have their own comic strip in the newly published 'Best New Manga' book and are available as merchandise from Tokyotoys.

This was a reworked version of a very old picture, so the composition is at the kitsch level of a 13-year old. I quite like the pencil work but aside from that this is only here for nostalgia.

Another one of my notorious 'chibi group' pictures XD. This was done just prior to the 2004 Olympics (and during the time I was doing my drivers license...I have vivid memories of a whole week where I either worked on this picture or got yelled at for driving too close to the kerb).
