Second in a series of pictures about the Canary Islands. Original natives from the Canaries, known as "Guanches" had an animistic religion and like american indians, they lauded the spirits of nature and so, i dedicated a picture to each island and the most relevant spirit of that island.

This is the Spirit of the Volcano representing Tenerife. With 3718 meters, Mount Teide National Park is one of the most impressive volcanos in the World. The character is a female Faun riding a giant Tizón lizzard, a very beautiful reptile endemic of the island.
