I wanted the image to reflect that moment in the film where the Predator surfaces out of the water (near the end) and his optical camo suit is sparking and crackling, and losing it's 'charge'...

I had the chance to go in a pen with a pack of wolf pups a couple of years ago. Now when I say pups, these guys were 12 weeks old and the size of adult alsations! Getting jumped on by them was an experience!

I wanted to try and capture that sense of prescene wolves have with this painting, hence the focus on the eye. This was painted entirely on one layer and took about 2-3 hours.
