Hi everyone...!
2007 started kind of stumbling for me due to many reasons, and I felt like going for something not as cartoony as I
use to. I wanted to depict something stronger and darker, but with a pinch- I hope- of good feeling inside, the
kind of good feeling you get when finally good things begin to come after fighting a bit against the odds.
Done over an old pencil sketch of mine (too crapy to show) in photoshop from scratch as usual, It's taken me many,
many lunch times and some spare breakfast times, but I'm glad to say that I've learn lots!! working on it.
On the artwork side, I've left out the blood splats and guts, and went for (a bit exagerated) metal sparks instead
as I didn't want it to look too bloody; it's violent enough as it is, I think.
Anyway, here's my latest, a -surprisingly enough- semi-naked female warrior, fighting fiercely against a whole
army that cannot stop her, in part because she's got a someone/something by her side, looking after her.
Finally, thanks so much to everyone at work( you know who you are!) for your kind comments and crits.

Hi back at ya, i really like this piece lots going on, nice use of colours, very busy, its always amazed me how someone has the patience to sit for hours and actually finish a picture like this, something i suffer with i'm afraid. But yes i really like this well done.

I'm in awe! Magnificent battle scene - the action is so intense that you can almost hear the yelling of the enemy and the sound of bones being crushed as your heroin swings her massive mace around. Inspiring! :-)
