Monkey Girl is a character i created for CGSociety's 'Machineflesh' challenge. The image i produced for the challenge was one of my first digital illustrations and i wasn't that happy with it, so i did this image a few months later. I was playing around with my style and the way i used brushes and paint in Photoshop. I've been too busy with work and other personal stuff for the last year or so to develop Monkey Girl further, but i've got a whole story in my head that i'm going to have to get in comic form at some point!

An amazing image. There is so much going on in the picture that it keeps your attention as well as guessing what's going to happen next. The composition is brilliant and the detail is fantastic. I would gladly have it on my wall at home.

Tracking this one back from a 2009 Art Book catalogue... can I get this as an art print from anywhere? It's fantastic... especially as I used to have a VW... :)
