This is a combination of digital painting and photographs, the figure was a photograph I painted over from http://justmeina.deviantart.com/

The photo was all repainted, and all the additions (blood, wings, etc,) hand painted.

 

Steps were a repaint from sxc, skulls from dreamstime.

Anything else, hand painted
