I am a complete dunce when it comes to understanding this genre, however, on a purely aesthetic basis I love it! The tactile, yet illusive quality of the tonal values of this finish is amazing. It makes me want to reach out and touch him, and yet I am scared to?!

He truly is depicted as a sacrifice here, full of beauty in his suffering for us, and yet ugly because of the thoroughly disgusting nature of his death on a cross.

The use of light here is really adding to the feeling of despair and yet utter love for his creation!!

Yes, congratulations, this is a very moving, and successful experiment in what for you seems to be a new genre!  well done indeed!!
