I don't know why I have forgotten to add this piece to my gallery, haha!

Welcome to a world that shows mankinds true nature: A cover of an illustrated novel (DarkTown) that we are currently working on. It was created by V. S. Alexius and me. I developed the original concept and figure, he then gave his part to the background and finally I finished the whole thing with coloring touchups, texturing and slightly corrections on the composition.

PS: Even I didn't think that we would get all the hardware problems handled to finish this work finally

Another portrait wich I did just for fun, no real purpose but that I safed her in another Photoshop files with dozents of layers to create a hair tutorial for you guys

This also was meant as a practice for field in depth on which people reacted very differently so far. Some liked it while other thought it was a mistake... well we'll see how you guys are thinking about that

A character design based on a sketch of mine.

I have tried a style variation here and I must say that I usually don't like that kind of coloring that much, cause it looks too artificial for me... but it's a faster way to finish such sketches.

The Floating Girl...

... Who Seemed To Be Made Of All Light.

First of all I have to say that I worked very very long on that face. I finally wanted her design to be done and I saw that I should learn from some "old masters" now. That's why I took my books and looked for artists I'd like the most. One book was featuring french masters and I picked Fragonard and Bougereau as my favorites to learn from.
Influences can be seen here, because I just love their way of painting backgrounds and floating dresses.
I also started to make her costume for real.

It was made in 20 hours of work, Adobe Photoshop and Wacom tablet.

Inspiration was the most lovely Portman! :)
