This was a piece that I did to convey the type of dark fantasy art I would like to do more of. The "artofant.com" being spoken by a still fleshy, bleeding skull being held up (ritual style) by an unknown creature I hope achieves this. The color of the bg and creatures hands are similar in color and the skull color contrasts this and stands out to draw your eye. The rim lighting emphasizes the edge and gives an impression of a fire burning off screen and world outside this bit we're seeing.
