The Grass is always Greener

This is a speed painting I made up in my head - it's as far as I will go with it, I don't have enough landscape experience to improve it. But you get a good idea of what is in my head - worlds to me which I would live in lol I love spring, I love lush greens and blue sky, sun, waterfalls and lakes. Maybe it's because I have lived in England all my life hehe.

As for background story, well maybe it's an ancient civilization, they ruined their world, nature eventually grew back, like it always does. Civilizations come and go. I am influence by Miyazaki, Laputa, Nausicaa, Mononoke Hime etc.

Done in photoshop - I finished it a few days ago and haven't really had any reaction to it on any forums - it's largely been ignored! So I guess people don't like this style much. It's the only thing I've really finished anyway. So I will start my Gallery with it.

These are my favourite colours and this is generally my style - I don't like normal looking things, people or places, so a lot of my work will look like this, love it or hate it hehe :-)
