great pic I think! although, the chin looks a little weird, almost like the jawbone isn't connected to the rest of the skull..

Yeah, I gave his chin a little twist, maybe looking back on it, I think it was a bad call. I've had some other comments on this piece and his mouth is not "Harry Connick." Running through some other images of him made me understand that the mouth is not render right. Thanks vivvz for your comments, this will make the next piece even better.

i'm not an expert on caricature but we do have one, i'm wondering where he is! 'Scottttttt!' he's jonesmac and he'll pass by soon i reckon.

so, it looks fine to me apart from the mouth as you've said, good attempt and as you say you learn from it.

Yeah, Daniel Craig should be a good subject. Was thinking about rendering the picture in gray value tones. I have few other projects in the works, so maybe I should sit on this one.

hey fly, this is really good, the only thing i would say is that his face is more portrait like rarther than caricature, but the rest of him is so i suppose that qualifies, sorry i'm not being picky i just don't understand what qualifies for caricature!

it is an excellent likeness, superb fly!

Nice one Fly. I quite like these sort of in between charicature and portrait images. I dont remember the guys name but the charicature artist that used to work on... oh was it Total Film magazine? One of the Uk film mags anyway had a similar syle.

Bigmas1979- A big gun would be great, and as a Bond fan I don't really remember a Bond poster without a gun. Usually Bond with a gun or a girl with a gun.

Kazky- Usually when I'm doing a sketch of a caricature I'll focus first on understanding a little bit about the characters features in the face, if I have time. Sense this is a piece for me I'm in snail mode, I don't know at this time if the final piece will emerge out of this. I don't like twisting someones features to where your making fun of the person.

Caricature isn't really my thing but these look pretty good.

Much prefer your rock star although the angle of the guitar neck doesn't appear to match that of the body.

Thanks Martin for stopping by and thanks for the comments. This thread is not going to be just based on caricatures, I’ll probably spin it by doing some Sci-fi down the line.  I really don’t like to be cornered into one thing and I like to do a variety. I’ll keep the guitar neck in mind and thanks for the comments.
