    Favourite Games.

I've really been inspired by games in the past. The Silent Hill series is the one that comes to mind immediately, but also  the Final Fantasy and Half-Life series. When I was a kid, drawing Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat characters  is how I discovered anatomy.

Any of you guys played any of the Elder scrolls games.  Elder scrolls 3 was really imaginative.  I really like the more fantastical fantasy stuff.  to be honest Elder Scrolls 4 was a little bit of a disappointment. The graphic were incredible but it depicts a world too much like our own or just something out of medieval history.  When you cross into oblivion it gets a little more imaginative but i haven't got that far along in the story line.

I really loved the game "The longest Journey" for PC.  That game was very inspiring artistically for me. It had a great story to it as well

i've heard liongest journey is good. it looks pretty original and story/setting driven.

for me fantasy games like neverwinter nights, baldur's gate, fable, also the warcraft series. has anyone played 'Psychonauts' ? that game has a great artistic direction.

also 'American McGee's Alice'. a great spin on Alice in wonderland, also great artistic direction

    Re: Favourite Games.

My favorite was probably FF7, because I remember falling asleep during battles while trying to stay awake looking for a save point. The game was so engrossing with materia for your weapons and summons.
For some reason I'm less into RPG's, most likely for lack of time.

So for short burst of fun, COD 4 is just the best.

    Re: Favourite Games.

My fave game of recent times has to be Resistance Fall of Man on the PS3. I got seriously hooked on this. I was one of those herbert who queued up at silly hours to get a hold of the console and Resistance Fall of Man was my game of choice, for a while it became a way of life, morning , noon and night. Winning my first on line battle was one of my proudest achivements, heck I took to dressing in combat pants and wearing army hues!
Boy the game play sure was addictive, I even bought a gaming chair and wanted to sell my eyelids because i found i didn't want to sleep any more.
