Baby Boom

Brief: Depict the baby or youngling of a fantasy or sci-fi creature. It could be a mythological beast or more modern fantasy creature, or alien, it's up to you but it should make it's parents go "awww" (though not necessarily anyone else)

Deadline: Midnight (UK) on Wednesday 1st August. (this is Wednesday night, Thursday morning for those that need clarification). There is a 5 minute grace period allowing people to get their posts and links sorted. A moderator will then post a list of valid entries after checking links and voting will begin until the following midnight. Feedback is welcomed during the voting process.

 Your final entry should be posted in this thread: Post all comments, crits, sacrifices, and all WIPs (required for entry) in the WIP thread:

We have made the rules clearer and created a guide for posting and linking wips. Please ensure that you read this, it has lots of useful information. Entries without two separate wips in the wip threads or incorrect linking/posting will be disqualified.
