My experience of Shade extends as far as downloading and installing it. I've had a couple of versions, 7 and 8, one given away with Poser when I bought that a few years ago, the other from a similar offer to this one. I've had it installed for years and never used it. I've always just kept it in case it somehow becomes useful for something.

Well, I finally got the serial number, installed it, opened one of the sample files, hit render, and watched the interface vanish as it immediately crashed. Didn't give me a great deal of confidence. It also says in the docs with the installer that the Poser Fusion plug-in is supposed to support Poser Pro, but it refused to accept Poser Pro 2010 as a valid version of Poser, which didn't inspire me with any more confidence than I already didn't have to begin with. Other than that the ten minutes of so I played around with it were OK, renderer seemed fairly quick.

Back to leaving it installed and never using it again
