I'm reposting this Online Color Challenge from James Gurney's blog because I thought it was so cool. It's a drag & drop color sorting test. Arrange the squares on each row to create (what you think is) a perfect gradient, then click the button to score. A lower is better, and the results indicate where you had problems distinguishing smooth color transitions. (Interesting note: Like with so many things, I seem to score better when I'm inebriated.)

Ha, ha!!

I beat you all! And beat you all by miles!! A huge score of ** (Edit- number censored due to embarrassment)

Oh wait- lower is better? <sigh>

At least that explains why I prefer greyscale painting.

i daren't even tell you my score, but i think it basically says i'm almost 50% colour blind!

damn 31, guessing I wasted the investment in colour pencils... all those green-blues looked very similar to me.

Well now that we're all owning up I'll reveal my two digit score as 44!

And yet ... it seemed to be so easy while I was doing it. I was supremely confident at how brilliant it was going and overjoyed when I clicked the score button and saw the high number. At last! I'm brilliant at ... something! And then I read through the instructions again and felt like death.

But I didn't do it in daylight! (Surely that makes a difference?)

And my monitor is old. Really old!

And...

And... some other excuse.

Thats exactly how it went with me!! it looked perfect then i realised i was just rubbish at it!
