Video Game Character Design

Brief: Brand new game development company KommiKart want to break into the game market. They need a kick-ass character to rival popular characters such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario Brothers. Your job is to design the character. This can be human, animal, alien, you decide.

Deadline: Midnight (UK) on Wednesday 20th June. (this is Wednesday night, Thursday morning for those that need clarification). There is a 5 minute grace period allowing people to get their posts and links sorted. A moderator will then post a list of valid entries after checking links and voting will begin until the following midnight. Feedback is welcomed during the voting process.

Your final entry should be posted in this thread: Post all comments, crits, sacrifices, and all WIPs (required for entry) in the WIP thread

We have made the rules clearer and created a guide for posting and linking wips. Please ensure that you read this, it has lots of useful information.  Entries without two separate wips in the wip threads or incorrect linking/posting will be disqualified.

It looks like I'm first to post. I've been out of the challenges for about three years, but it's good to be back. These images and ideas were originally drawn in my sketchbook for this challenge, and completed in PhotoShop.

1. Spudonky: Presentation is the key and this looks ace!

2. Gixgidea: Looks like this character would actually be a cool one. Again great presentation.

3. Evil robot: Good and colourful. Plus, it looks solid and complete.
