Step - Color WIP ... how to go ahead?

    Hi guys,

In these days I'm trying to color an old sketch I did in 2009. I really like the pencil draw and now I would like to color it in photoshop.

I don't want to color it in a realistic way, I want someting more "comic", not completely blended expecially in the skin where I would like to see some brush strokes.

In addition to this I want keep the pencil drawing (it's an upper multiply level) even if I can evaluate to mask completely it for the background.
I am masking somewhere the lineart of the face in order to hide it if necessary...

...anyway I am not still convinced about it... probably I have to work more on shadows and light but I am pretty stuck this evening...

so... could you help me sharing your comments? What I could do to improve it? Do you see any huge mistake?

Thanks a lot for any comment shared

I think what you're doing looks great so far.

    Thanks a lot.

I worked on it yesterday, and I think that I can consider it complete.
