Welcome Terjis. Nice start with the nurse.

Do you plan on using colour eventually? If so, keep going with your grey scale and try to keep your gradients smooth. At the moment it's a little blotchy for me. There are loads of excellent artists on this site so stick around and listen to them and you will find it very helpful!

Keep going with this. I want to see more!!

    Re: Nurse pinup

    Thank you:)

Probably will try color just for the sake of practice, but first I will flesh her our in greyscale and make it look right. It isnt the smoothest WIP at the moment, But I'll get there.

So if anyone else got a few tips and/or crits they are very welcome :)

Thanks, will post more when I get further on the piece!

    Re: Nurse pinup

The first thing that comes to my mind is - why is she a nurse? What I mean is that the character of a nurse allows for plenty of scope for poses and paraphernalia, but I'm not seeing any indication of any of that - I just see a generic pinup pose with a nurse's uniform.

I hope you do have intentions of adding something more nurse-specific to the piece, because otherwise it would seem a bit of a wasted opportunity.

I'd suggest keeping it cropped like that. Not having the full kneeling pose actually makes it a stronger image for the nurse context.

My next question is - what kind of pinup is she? Good girl, playfully knowing girl or a bad girl?

looks, great, pose is interesting. But i want to know whether you going to add colour? I can see this piece without any colour, and it can represent something like from the 1920s-30s or it could have colour and red on the cross/plus will really pop out
