It has been a while since I posted, I recently started a new job, and my wife and I had our first child so my free time has been more scarce than it used to be. That being

said I've been trying to find more time for art, and I thought starting an ongoing post would help to keep me motivated. So here is a couple of pieces finished to varying

I really like your posts, especially the old robo-sheriff: Great design and really well executed.

Hi Foxman. These are all great pieces. The green monolith is awesome in its dark environment. And, as Smolin has already mentioned, the Sheriff painting looks fantastic. I especially like the "ray gun" style of his pistols.

Looking forward to seeing more.

Loving the flying rabbit Foxman! I know it's probably too late to say this, but I would have liked to have seen those wings just a bit bigger and more detailed. The balance is very tricky with this one because the background is so lovely, but I just thought I would mention it. The colour pallet is stunning too. Perfectly pink!

What did you paint it on? It looks a bit like ArtRage, but then you could have just used a filter in photoshop? I dunno since I have no idea what photoshop does!!

Smolin: Thanks, although it is not actually a mouse, it is a rabbit. Perhaps later I should go back to the drawing board later to make it read more clearly. 

Domtopia: Thanks a lot, you make a good point about the wings, of the few times I've tried, I have found it tricky to paint wings. Hopefully next time I'll improve! I painted this piece in photoshop. I don't like using the filters in photoshop as far as making a piece look more painterly. Once I'm satisfied with the piece I'll basically make a new layer specifically to add some more painterly strokes (if that's the look I'm going for) and then scale it back a bit until I think it looks okay.

Great picture Foxman! That flying mouse is amazing, and I love the castle/city in the BG.

I've heard they have big varmints in NY Smolin, but geeze! lol :P
