Welcome to the bi-weekly challenge to depict a tarot card from the Major Arcana,. This will last approximately a year. At the end of the year we will have the full Major Arcana. Two wips and a final are required for entry.

The only real stipulation is that The final image must be in the form of a card, with the card name and number, not just a painting
I will give you a brief meaning, but it's probably a good idea to do your own research.

1. Zinc - lovely (no buts...)

2. Heimdayel - I really like her costume, especially the golden leaves, but I think you could have worked more on her physique - her hips especially are so narrow she looks almost male.

3. a curious twitch - It's an interesting concept but I think her facial structure could have used more work.

Heimdayel would have been my first choice considering that I liked Zincs graphic elements far more than the use of the water colour look, and Heimdayels red ribbon and nicely painted golden leaves kept my eyes to the top half half of the figure. But with Voluspas comment, the seemingly non existent hips and badly emphasised legs upset the image far more.

1 - zinc: lovely indeed, the watercolour treatment and clean lineart worked like a charm on her

2 - curious_twitch : quite interesting; there's some pretty sharp contrast between some areas of her face (lips) that you could've smoothed/blended in a little - you have some nice little touches like the numbers and the eye filigree around the eye hole

totally right on the hip thing - not really liking her bottom half atm, not like other chars who had flowing robes that stretched 'till they reached the bottom of the card. Buuut those tweaks will have to wait a little, going to present our game on tuesday

1 - heimdayel: I simply adore the graphical knot-work design on your cards. I also like the bold colours and metallics which give the figure real 3D feel.

2 - curious_twitch: I like the close crop on your piece and the mask conveys the mystery and arcane aspects of the card well.

 Finally i've got round to this!
