I had a Kodak, It was ace, did everything I wanted, easily transportable, printed pictures perfectly & still did all the office workhorse stuff, untill it eventually broke & I couldn't wait to get it repaired as I needed to get work stuff printed that day.

Got a replacement, which was the next model up as Argos didn't have that exact one in on that day. That lasted just over the guarentee period untill it failed.

By that time Kodak had released new printers.  The basic one dosn't keep hold of the paper all the way through, so everything at the end of the page is double printed, Rubbish.

Took that one back & got the "Office hero" version. while it does print, it seems I am constanly having to clean the print heads to get the black to print, which means the ink is used quicker & wastes a lot of paper, whick goes a long way towards negating the cost advantage of the kodak inks. Also, when printing pictures, sometimes it can do a whole page fine, often there is a weird colour bar towards the bottom of the page, (I say bar, more like about a 5th of the page) where it has stopped using one of the inks, it hasn't run out, because then it could do another page (of the same pic) perfectly.

 Frankly, I have had enough.

Does anyone have any recommedations for a printer that will do good A4 Photo prints & a lot of general office printing, preferably with a scanner included?
