Great! I really like the loose style and muted palette. Character design is really cool too - especially digging the textiles.

But her eyes are crooked - the left one is much higher and further from her nose than the right. Also, the hands look too big - it's most obvious on the main hand, which is as big as her entire head.

ah darn it! you're right. You know, no matter how long I work on scale I get hand size AND eye size/distances wonky every time >_< It's a real pain in the arse TBH, need to really work on that O_O. Thanks mate! :D

Me too. That's why I love Photoshop. Feathered lasso, cut, paste, scale, then a little touch up -- problem solved. (Sometimes I feel like I'm doing collage.)

Smolin is dead on about the anatomical issues. One thing you should get in the habit of doing to spot issues like that is to flip the canvas (Image > Image Rotation > Flip Canvas Horizontal). You can even record this as an action to do it with one keystroke. Sometimes after working on piece for a long time, it's difficult to see the issues that are staring you right in the face. Flipping the canvas will make them stand out immediately.

There's an even easier way of checking for that awful wonkiness if you're using photoshop and you don't even have to use image flip if you want to be super careful about it, create a layer then draw a verticle line with the marquee, because it's a computer it will draw it perfectly straight every time so you don't have to flip any time you want to check for straightness.

Sorry Lethn, but that's not a good idea. Flipping canvas is the best method because you see the issues right away. It is not a good idea to use guides to try to get an image right the first time.
