Hi all, Im nearly finished with this.

Was wondering if there is anyone who might have thoughts on how i can finish it off and present it well.

I just I'd ask you guys first to see what you think.

It may be because this is still in progress, but something about it isn't really meshing for me right now. The creature itself is quite sketchy, which is fine in itself, but the glass is quite precise and smooth and the water coming off the tentacles is detailed and realistic. They just don't really fit together, I think.

And now I look at the glass more, the glass isn't that convincing. The edges are very straight, and there's no cracks running through it or anything. Perhaps it depends on the type of glass though, it's not something I've ever painted or drawn myself.

Yeah, that's part of it. All I can really say to help you with broken glass is to find a reference image, as I said, it's not something I've ever painted myself.

EDIT - Oops, I thought I was talking to Noeleon there for something reason :P

Thanks folks, I have the very same feelings about it.Just something not clicking with me either. ill put that extra bit of work into it i think.  Always good to get a second opinion.

I shall have the revamped version up here soon to see what you guys think.
