Hey guys, 

I'm new here and i have always been fascinated by digital art and always wanted to do something with it.
Recently i decided to seriously put allot of time in to it, problem is that i barely have any experience.

Sure, i started drawing at a young age but due to a different carreer choice at the age of 16 i really never had the time to really further develop my skills.
When i found out about ImagineFX and being intruigued by some of the amazing artists out there i really want to put allot of time in to this.

Ofcourse its never to late to learn, but being 26 it feels like i have huge disadvantage because most of these artists started at a much younger age i suppose.
Just wondering how long people been working on their skills and what age you started digital painting (or normal painting for that matter).
And i'm also wondering if you guys think 26 is to late start seriously undertaking action to get really good at this. :)

Welcome, apoclysm. Just read through some of the postings here and you will hear a lot of people mention that they've only been doing digital art for a couple years or even less, and doing some very nice works already. Myself, I've only been working digital since early 2009, after finding IFX myself, and never worked traditionally before, so mostly sketched and did some air-brushing. ... And it's never too late, whether your 26 or 46! :) How far you get along, just depends on how much time & effort you put in to it. ... You could also peruse others galleries, threads, sketchbooks, etc. and you will get a feel for how others have come along since they started out.

A little determination goes a long way. :)

I will most definetly be looking around on these forums and i will be buying ImagineFX every month for now on and i will focus as much time as i have in Photoshop.

Allready checked some of your work and that looks very good. :)
I think looking atmart around here will keep my motivation very high.
