New Monitor required

My stupid artwork monitor is dying. It is dark at the top and light at the bottom. I'm going to relegate it to being a palettes monitor.

What I need now is a darn good, new screen. Any recommendations? Also any ideas about what criteria I should be applying to my search would be welcome.

If you've got a copy of IFX 71 check the BenQ VW2420H monitor review, four stars and one hundred and forty four quid.
